Amazing food, amazing sunset views with the sound of waves crashing to soothe your soul and fill your tummy with goodness. You cannot find fault in any of the dishes. We tried ravioli, skewers, mocktails, salmon and desserts which were all finished without any drop left behind. I would recommend that any waiter/waitress that is coughing/sneezing or not feeling well should wear a mask or not come to work. I am curious as why The Kliff and The Sail are in the same hotel but with different standards of quality and service. Perhaps there is something that both restaurants can learn from each other. Friendly staff and cozy setting make this a recommended place.
Cldnt ask for more. Excellent wood fired pizza and calamari and seafood and fall off the bone beef ribs, the seafood pasta and fish of the day was fresh and delicious too . Amazing view and great service . A real gem ! We loved it so much , we came back every night. Glad that it was low season so we Cld get seats with a view easily. Great way to end each evening.
We had an absolutely beautiful evening at Kliff Bistro, perched above the cliffs in Senggigi with sweeping views of the coastline and a cozy, elegant atmosphere. The restaurant blends romantic lighting, modern architecture, and a laid-back vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxing dinner. We started with a glass of chilled bubbly and enjoyed a seafood bisque and bouillabaisse – both rich, flavourful, and full of fresh prawns and shellfish. The tomato-based broth was deeply savory and paired perfectly with the toasted bread. For mains, we had the slow-cooked beef ribs served with creamy mashed potatoes and a fresh salad – a standout dish, incredibly tender and well-seasoned. The other dish, a seafood pasta packed with clams and prawns in a vibrant tomato sauce, was hearty and satisfying without being too heavy. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure everything came out smoothly. The sunset view, combined with candlelit tables and a warm breeze off the sea, made the whole experience feel a little bit magical. Would definitely recommend Kliff Bistro for anyone in Senggigi looking for a special dining spot with great food, a view, and a romantic setting.
If you're looking for a place to enjoy stunning views while savoring beautifully presented and delicious food, this is the spot for you. Just take a look at the pictures—they speak for themselves! What more could you ask for? It’s an experience worth every penny. Note: They serve alcoholic beverages.
After a disappointing experience at our hotel’s restaurant (Kalandara Hotel), The Kliff Bistro was a very welcome surprise. From the moment we arrived, the setting exuded elegance and class. The menu immediately appealed to us, and it only got better from there. We started with the King Prawn Margarita and the Kliff Yakitori (scallops & prawns) – both beautifully presented and full of flavor, far superior to what we had the night before, and for a lower price. Admittedly, this place is part of a luxury hotel (Katamaran Hotel), so it’s not the cheapest option around, but you absolutely get what you pay for: quality. The staff are also in a different league – fluent in English, professional, approachable, and always smiling. For our mains, we had the seafood ravioli and linguini marinara, both well-seasoned and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The cocktails were balanced and refined, and the wine by the glass (we chose a Chardonnay) was among the best we’ve had during our trip. Desserts were on the generous side, but we’d rather have too much than leave hungry. Even the entrance to the restaurant sets the tone: an experience in itself. The Kliff really impressed us, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
Service was great and staff are lovely. Food was excellent mostly, my soup starter was a little disappointing but could just of been my taste preference. The view is amazing! Although the sunset didn’t quite deliver for me due to cloud cover I did see two sea turtles come up for air between waves! And despite the cloud you could still make out mount Agung/Bali.
We stayed in the resort next door and booked here for an anniversary dinner. The restaurant is in a spectacular setting, is big and modern. The food was delicious, we had prawn and scallops to start, blue swimmer crab, squid ink spaghetti (delicious) and dessert. We would have come back if we had had more time.
We definitely recommend this restaurant for a lovely evening of food and drink. We stayed at the hotel next door and ate here 5 times In the week. The menu is varied and every meal we ate was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the chefs! The staff always greeted us at the door and remembered who we were from previous nights. They showed a high level of professionalism and kindness. All the waiters were fantastic- particular thanks to Haqi! We had some really lovely evenings here and the sea view is beautiful. We would recommend booking as it gets busy.
